MARCO FURNITURE PURCHASE POLICY

1. Quote Validity

  • Quotes are valid for two weeks or until the specified date mentioned in the quote.
  • Only written quotes issued within Marco Furniture’s system are valid for redemption.
  • Verbal or expired quotes are not acceptable for any transactions.

2. Pricing and Payment

  • Currency: All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, cash, Marco Furniture vouchers, EFT payments, Zip, Latitude and  AfterPay (or as advertised).
  • Promotional Pricing: Discounts or promotional prices will be displayed alongside the Recommended Retail Price (RRP).
  • Price Changes: Prices may change without prior notice; however, any existing quotes will be honoured within their validity period.
  • Full Payment: Full payment, including delivery fees, is required to complete the purchase and process delivery.

3. Order Processing

  • Online Orders: Processing begins only after receiving full payment (inclusive of GST).
  • In-store Orders: Require a minimum deposit, including GST and delivery fees, to initiate processing.
  • Confirmation: A confirmation email will be sent after successful order placement. Customers must ensure all order details are accurate.

4. Custom and Special Orders

  • Custom Orders: These products have a production and delivery timeline, which will be estimated at the time of order placement.
    • Since these products are manufactured overseas, potential delays may occur due to shipping line disruptions, force majeure, or material shortages.
    • Marco Furniture will promptly inform customers of any changes in delivery timelines.
  • Special Orders: Cannot be cancelled or modified once confirmed.
    • A termination fee of 50% of the total item value applies if a cancellation is requested.

5. Payment Security

  • Secure Transactions: Marco Furniture uses global payment providers for secure credit card transactions, and all sensitive information is encrypted.
  • Credit Card Data: No credit card information is retained after finalizing the order.
  • Customers must provide accurate contact information for order confirmation.

6. Order Finalization

  • Purchase Orders: Must be finalized and fully paid before confirming delivery or collection.
  • Order Modifications or Rejections: Marco Furniture reserves the right to reject or modify orders due to product discontinuation, excessive shipping costs, pricing errors, product unavailability, fraud prevention measures, or other necessary reasons.

7. Delivery Charges

  • Online Purchases: Final delivery charges are calculated at checkout.
  • In-store Transactions: Delivery charges will be confirmed at the point of purchase.
  • Amendments: Delivery charges may change if the order is amended or delivery requirements are modified.

8. Storage Policy

  • Marco Furniture will hold orders for up to 6 weeks from the date the product becomes available.
  • Alternative Storage: Customers must arrange for alternative storage beyond this period.
  • Additional Charges: May apply if items are not collected or delivered within the 6-week period.

9. Shipping and Delivery

  • Delivery Timeline: Orders are aimed to be shipped and delivered within 1-3 weeks of product availability.
  • Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA): ETA is approximate and subject to change, with any updates promptly communicated to customers.
  • Apartment Deliveries: Standard delivery does not include delivery to apartments within complexes or high-rise buildings; delivery is to the main entrance unless pre-organized with customer service.

10. Price Adjustments

  • Prices are subject to changes due to supply chain adjustments without prior notice. Marco Furniture will communicate significant changes to affected customers as soon as possible.

11. Discounts and Promotions

  • Discounts and promotional offers cannot be applied to finalized orders unless specified in the promotional terms.
  • Discount Usage: Must be redeemed at the point of purchase and are not applicable to third-party services or consignment products.

12. Credit Notes and Vouchers

  • Validity: Credit notes and vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of issue.
  • Extensions: No extensions will be provided, and remaining balances after expiry will be forfeited.
  • Cash Redemption: Credit notes and vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

13. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations are allowed only for standard orders that have not been processed or shipped.
  • Refunds: Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed within 7-10 business days. For special or custom orders, cancellations are not permitted once confirmed.
