MARCO FURNITURE CHANGE OF MIND POLICY

At Marco Furniture, we value your satisfaction. We understand that sometimes you may reconsider your purchase. Our Change of Mind Policy offers flexibility, provided certain conditions are met.

1. Conditions for Change of Mind Requests

  1. Standard Orders: Change of mind is only applicable to standard orders, excluding special or custom orders, unless specified otherwise.
  2. Product Condition: The product must be in its original, unopened packaging, unused, and unassembled to be eligible for a change of mind return.
  3. Return Timeframe: Requests must be made within 7 days of receiving the item.
  4. Non-returnable Items: Assembled, unboxed, or used items, as well as those assembled by third parties, are not eligible for returns, except in cases of defects (covered under our Warranty Policy).

2. Options for Unpaid Orders

  1. If you decide to alter an unpaid order, you can exchange the items for others of equal value up to the original deposit amount.
  2. Any revised order balance must not be less than the initial deposit amount.
  3. Refunds are not available for items removed from the order. Any negative balance created by alterations will be converted to a store credit.

3. Options for Fully Paid Orders

  1. Store Credit or Exchange: You may choose to exchange the product for items of equal or greater value. Any additional costs will be charged at current prices, and extra delivery fees may apply.
  2. Credit Note: If the order is cancelled after full payment, a credit note equal to the total paid amount will be issued, valid for 24 months.
  3. Special Orders: Special orders cannot be altered or cancelled once placed. A termination fee of 50% of the total item value will apply.

4. Refunds for Standard Purchases

  1. If a standard purchase is cancelled before delivery, a 30% cancellation fee will be deducted from the refundable amount.
  2. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, excluding payments made via credit vouchers or gift cards.

5. Returning Unopened Products

  1. Unopened products returned within 7 days of receipt will be subject to a 30% cancellation fee.
  2. The cost of returning the items is the customer's responsibility, with return shipping prepaid.
  3. This condition does not apply to defective items, which are covered under our Warranty Policy and the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Australian Consumer Law Compliance

  1. You have guaranteed rights under the Australian Consumer Law when purchasing from Marco Furniture.
  2. These rights include options for repair, replacement, or refund if goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described.
  3. In cases of major failures, a full refund, including associated delivery fees, will be provided.
  4. For minor issues, we may offer a repair service within a reasonable timeframe. If the repair is delayed, you may request a refund or replacement.

7. How to Initiate a Change of Mind Return

  • Contact Us: Email or call our customer service team to notify us of your intent to return the item.
  • Provide Details: Include your order number, the product name, and a brief reason for the return.
  • Return Approval: Once approved, you will receive instructions for returning the product.
  • Shipping & Handling: You are responsible for the cost of return shipping, ensuring the product is securely packaged.
